Field Engineer

Job Description:
Field personnel are typically client-facing and often consult onsite. Field Engineers are responsible for providing onsite equipment walkdown and equipment tagging. Field Engineers are also responsible for gathering client equipment information and specification information based on customer’s needs as per the Service Level Agreement. Field Engineers are responsible for the creation of data loading sheets and for the maintenance of field data within the SMS Maintenance Management Record Collect Application, MMRCA and Job Plan Preventive Maintenance tool, JPPM. All Field Engineers must have a strong functional knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management, EAM, and systems.
Education:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Business. Certifications are an additional plus.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office operating systems.
- Experience with Maximo, Infor, and/or other enterprise asset management systems preferred.

Responsibilities
- Perform on-site equipment walk down.
- Classify on-site equipment.
- Collect on-site equipment information including:
o Tag walk down equipment with proper identification tags.
o Use walk down information to create data loading sheets.
o Use walk down data to create MMRCA (Maintenance Management Record Collect Application) and JPPM (Job Plan Preventive Maintenance) Tool.
- Create functioning location/asset hierarchy with the following:
o Create load sheets from multiple sources such as physical walkdowns and P&ID data.
o Gather inventory using mobile devices.
o Structure inventory into bins.
o Collect accurate inventory counts.
o Label inventory.
- Perform periodic performance reporting.
- Perform occasional guidance to client representatives.
